How to Create your Family Tree

George Boole, Father of Modern day Computing is the case study used for this lecture, 'How to create your family tree'. Family history now uses software to draw family trees and also relies on the traditional method of drawing family histories.  This lecture demonstrates the basic skills required to draw a family tree.   Lorna Moloney, George Boole *200 project genealogist on behalf of ACE details the finer points required to research, cross check and finally to ensure all information is correct at all stages in drawing your family tree. The lecture will provide strategies and useful genealogy advice on where to start and how to proceed on your important family journey.

Ms Lorna Moloney, Adult Continuing Education, UCC will present this illustrated lecture.
